Donations being shipped
The team have been working hard to gather donations and organise shipping.
Thanks to all those who donated, and well done to the volunteers for staying after work and loading up the van last night.
We trust our friends at Linkpin Ltd (UK to Africa Shipping Agent) to get these supplies to Zimbabwe in time for our arrival, they did such a great job last year and are so helpful.
AGM – 11/05/2019
Saturday marked our Annual General Meeting for 2019. A good turnout of existing committee members was bolstered by some new faces, keen to support the team’s hard work. Amongst the things being discussed is how the team and it’s work can be enhanced with enthusiastic and talented people in future!
As an added bonus, tasty treats cooked up by the members were served after the meeting concluded.
Fundraising – Basildon 5k
On a chilly 15th December 2018, a group of our volunteers participated in the Basildon 5k Park Run, and raised a tidy sum for our great cause. Well done team!
